Centor raises over £6,600 for Children in Need

Centor is thrilled to announce we raised more than twice what we aimed to for BBC Children in Need last week.

We raised an impressive £6,640, far more than our goal of £3,000. Centor matches the total amount raised by staff, bringing the total to £13,280. CEO Neil Walton says the team’s efforts have made him very proud.

“This is an amazing result and way above previous records,” he says. “We all had a great day but what is most important is how much we managed to raise for such a good cause.”

As well as dressing up, we took part in a variety of fun games, including an Office Sweep, Wheel of Fortune and Pie Face. We also had a baking sale, a Guess the Body Parts competition, a raffle and an auction, with prizes donated by clients and key contacts.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated money or an auction or raffle prize. We’re so grateful for all your support,” Mr Walton says.

If you’d like to contribute to Centor’s total, it’s not too late – donations can still be made on our JustGiving page.
